Should Salt Lake City be selected to host the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, 1.7 million tickets will be made available about one year prior to the games. Average cost will be approximately $50 with a low of $20.

Most Spectators will be required to take public transportation to the venues to reduce traffic congestion. This will also reduce air pollution since most public vehicles will be equipped with natural gas burning engines. This is just one aspect of how Salt Lake City is planning for it's future.

Should Salt Lake City be selected to host the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, the 21st Century's first celebration of sport and spirit will run from February 9 to February 22, 2002.
